  About VAST
VAST was incorporated as a BC not-for-profit organization in 1986. We serve refugees and immigrants from many countries where political violence and torture occur. People who are survivors of torture often suffer long-term physical and psychological effects which can impede their ability to work, learn and resettle in a new country.
